The Vision
Richie Shoaib Sequeria , the founding member
originated the basic concept of the Protection of Rights
Association (P.O.R.A) .Richie shared his vision with
several friends and from there a vision became a
reality. Protection of Rights Association ( P.O.R.A) was
incorporated on 18th February 2009 and achieved the
status of a registered organization on 1st April 2009.
Protection of Rights Association ( P.O.R.A) is
an effort on the part of seven individuals namely, Shri
Shoaib Richie Sequeira, Shir Shiv Malhotra , Ms
Muninder Mona Kundan, Ms Uminder Umi Kundan, Shir
Manikraj Totade, Dr. Pradeep Shriyan and Dr. Jasbir
Bobby Walia common people like you from different walks
of life and professions who came in contact with each
other due to personal and individual litigations wherein
their rights and the rights of their family members were
violated due to the misuse of power and high handedness
of people in governance.

Having realized that
solidarity and sharing of experience is also a way by
which various issues like corruption in all walks of life
and more particularly governance, violation of
fundamental, legal and human rights etc which are the bane
of our society today, the seven members of P.O.R.A.
decided to come together on a common platform to make a
difference to society. |
